Settled complex will contest, joint account conversion case and real estate partition case in separate cases after 18 months of litigation by obtaining recovery of 100% of $185,000 of joint account funds previously taken, $100,000 discount on real estate purchase price for client's purchase, and 50% discount on NFL football team seat license rights.
  3. CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION. Settled construction litigation for $305,000 against 9 contractors involving $1.3 million home addition with multiple construction defects; case was in 4thyear of litigation, and recovery included most of the attorney's fees and expert fees.
  4. MEDICAL MALPRACTICE & WRONGFUL DEATH. Settled medical malpractice / wrongful death case for $2,125,000 after 4 years of litigation involving complex anesthesia and infectious disease issues requiring multiple expert witnesses.
  5. ATTORNEY MALPRACTICE - ESTATE PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION. Settled complex estate, tax, and commercial litigation involving alleged attorney malpractice, income and estate taxes, and sale of business as part of estate plan, saved client over $2,700,000 in alleged federal and state tax liabilities and simultaneously protected her home by obtaining discharge of federal tax lien.
  6. PARTNERSHIP LITIGATION - MINORITY SHAREHOLDER OPPRESSION. Settled minority shareholder oppression lawsuit in favor of client by obtaining 2 (of the 3) car washes plus $360,000 cash settlement.

Won motion to dismiss bankruptcy adversary proceeding filed against my client because the plaintiff's lawyer filed the complaint 2 minutes after the electronic-filing deadline.   14. CAPITAL FINANCING. Drafted, negotiated and closed complex legal and tax structuring for $15,000,000 equity and debt infusion to chemical manufacturing client with multinational conglomerate.

Settled alleged breach of contract case involving restrictive covenants to prevent competition and solicitation; obtained settlement for client that permitted client to open, advertise, and market her competing gym across street from former employer without any monetary settlement consideration, and terminating restrictive covenants.
